I have a craft kit...well, 3 craft towers courtesy of IKEA... that I use regularly because of my love of a great DIY. Here are just some of the items that I use the most to help you get started, should you catch the DIY bug.
- scissors
- E-6000 Glue (industrial strength glue that sticks practically anything to anything)
- white glue
- scotch tape
- Sharpies (I'm an addict of the Sharpie lol)
- thread and needles
- Embroidery thread
- rubber bands
- paint brushes (easily found in packs of multiple sizes at dollar stores)
- acrylic paint
- glitter

Other things that you may want to have are:
- scraps or different pieces of fabric
- glue gun
- studs and spikes (if you're into that type of thing, they can really be quite chic)
- seam rippers
- fabric dyes
- gems/jewels (found at dollar and craft stores)
- beads/pearls (found cheap on ebay)
- Jewelry chain
- feathers
- basic accessories that you can buy in bulk (the plastic/elastic stuff like plain bangles, headbands, rings, hair ties)
- elastic
- fabric chalk (to mark your changes before you commit)
Really, you can have just about anything in your kit. Just remember, whatever you find you use the most... KEEP IT ON HAND AND BUY IN BULK. Saves you money, honey!
HAPPY CRAFTING!
